Guess the Rent on a 2,500-Square-Foot Bucktown Contempo

New, 4 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price (or rent) guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from a property listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. The answer is revealed tomorrow. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: A 2,500-square-foot, 3-bed/3.5-bath single family Bucktown contempo.
The Asking Rent: ?

The Skinny: It's evident there's been little if any living going on at this Bucktown home, at least not since the interiors were reworked into a weird melange. Forgive it the droopy faux chandeliers and you've got an abode with some built-in pizzaz courtesy of the spiral staircase, sunken rooms, curvy, high-ceilinged living room, pocket-sized kitchen, wet bar, and jumbo garage-top terrace. The room sizes are disproportionate and oddball angles make their efficient use a bit challenging. That could be why the home sold in September for half its 2008 list price and just two-thirds of its 2002 sale price. Have fun pegging the rent!
