There's a murmur—nay, loud insistence—that the developer of the torpedoed Chicago Spire will resuscitate the original plan for a 2,000-foot supertall at 400 N Lake Shore Drive. The insistence is from the developer himself, Garrett Kelleher, who has been wrestling with creditors and a bankruptcy case for three years. Kelleher's lawyer tells Crain's the Irishman is "very committed to the Chicago Spire...we're coming out of the perfect storm and this is the perfect product."
