Rare though it is, it may be that our glowing assessment of this Lake View Greystone back in September 2012 didn't resonate with the masses. We're still partial to the rabid decor, unexpected spirals and skylights, gaudy bathrooms, enormous kitchen, and even the blotchy paint job, but it's time to admit something about the chaos and/or the price isn't sitting well with prospective buyers. Now posted for sale for 13 months, the asking price has wilted from $1.39M to $1.195M. The historic, beautiful facade is a clear standout in the area. The interiors represent another world entirely. Also working against the listing: a scarcity of bedrooms (2), a scarcity of conventional windows, an unfinished basement, and a conjoined wall with the neighboring multi-family.
