The second $1M-plus one-bed condo sale has been committed to record at the Trump Tower, observes Chicago Mag's Dennis Rodkin. A 64th-floor east-facing unit fetched a certifiably insane $1.3M in July, and now a 33rd-floor space—larger but with crummier north and west views—got exactly $1M. Particularly jarring is that the seller made a one-bed from a two-bed, removing a wall and the master bedroom and thus expanding the living room, and still cleared $140K over the 2011 purchase price. We're in the wrong business. [Chicago Mag, Trump Tower coverage]
