Congrats to the several commenters that cornerspotted with pinpoint accuracy. This 12-story brick building is in fact the current Wilson Flats apartment rehab project and the former Norman Hotel. The building switched to rental units in 1988 and it's a construction site at present with Cedar Street Co. having purchased the 116-unit property in the last year. When the transition to more desirable and more expensive apartments is complete, you'll have a chance to live in or near updated units rumored to have housed Charlie Chaplin and one of Al Capone's girlfriends. The building must've created a stir when erected in 1928, as most everything in the immediate area that preceded it topped out at three or four stories.
