The postcard depiction at right is of a North Side hotel building still standing under an alternate use. Built in the 1920s as a middle-rung hotel, this Albert S. Hecht-designed 12-story building became affordable apartments in the 1980s where it soon descended into disfunction (disrepair, numerous housing court appearances). It sold in 1998 to a new manager, and the problems continued. As of summer 2012, the building was again for sale with a posted asking price of more than $5M, but less than its 2005 list price. What, then, is her name and address?
