The development venture behind the proposed 26-story luxury residential tower at the corner of State & Elm is going condo. That's right, condo. And if you're going to attempt the first new high-rise condo project in downtown since 2007, the Gold Coast is a fine locational choice. These will be some unnervingly luxe units, with just 35 planned. There will, of course, be a retail component and parking podium— five stories in height, per last summer's elevation.
