One of Chicago's Finest, Beefiest Church Condos Gets $1.1M

New, 3 comments

A four-level converted church condo has a buyer in Lake View. It's the largest, freshest, and most livable unit of its kind we've encountered (exempting single-family conversions). The seller aimed for $1.225M but had to settle for $1.1M, barely more than the 2011 purchase price. Guess it wasn't about the flip. HIghlights include cathedral ceilings, three outdoor spaces, exposed brick, hardwood floors, four bedrooms, and three baths for a total of 3,600+ square feet. And hey, the new owner may well find a more apt use for the interior balcony than as a perch for a stationary bike.
