"Hmm. I've been seeing a lot more hipster in Uptown lately... and they weren't even there for the concerts. Uptown is the perfect place for hipsters actually - History, Culture, Public Transit, etc. It reminds me A LOT of Williamsburg but actually Uptown is less dangerous and scummy. I find Uptown has stalled in gaining that population and gentrifying due to politics and the problems public housing has caused over the decades. Also, I would recommend you look into the 2010 census data and compare that to previous data. There is a reversal in "white flight" and the trends experienced in the early/middle part of the last decade, particularly in Uptown." —Anon [Video Interlude: Uptown National Bank Building]
