This just in: Michael Jordan's logic-defying 56,000-square-foot mansion on seven fortified acres in Highland Park has cut its asking price by $8M! Now only $21M, His Airness is in danger of losing ground to Donald Trump's unoccupied penthouse (still asking $32M) and maybe even Vince Vaughn's Palmolive triplex. Lest you've forgotten, Jordan's palace grounds contain a private basketball arena, tennis courts, putting greens, enormous patios, and a shapely pond. The modern but clunky mansion counts nine bedrooms, 15 full baths, four half-baths, and five fireplaces. Oh, and there's garage space for 15 vehicles. This may be Jordan's biggest spread, but he's come to favor warm and sunny locales over the city that made him. Another tip 'o the hat to The Trib's Bob Goldsborough. It's been a busy week!
