Wrigley Field Improvements

New, 14 comments

Some pretty big changes are in store for Wrigley Field. Yesterday, the Cubs announced large-scale plans to renovate the aging stadium, phased in over the course of four years. Some of the upgrades include larger dugouts, more restrooms and concession areas, and improvements to luxury suites. One of the sexier projects floated at the meeting is an "entertainment and community hub" located on a triangle-shaped site adjacent to the stadium, featuring an improved ice rink and space for outdoor movie screenings. Also encouraging, the McDonald's on Clark could finally meet its maker if plans to construct a hotel on the site come to pass. Official renderings are on the way. Check back! [DNAInfo]
