Plain Jane Bridgeport Abode Works In Pool/Hot Tub Combo

New, 1 comment

In-ground outdoor pools are not the amenity of choice for single family housing in Chicago. But string together a couple more scorching summers and you'll see their stock rise. There's obviously more space for outdoor pools in the city's fringe neighborhoods and suburbs, so it's always a bit of a jolt to see one in a denser area (unless belonging to an aristocratic outlier). This Bridgeport property is far removed from such fame and fortune. It's a boxy late-90s assembly line home, more than livable at 3,200 square feet with four beds and three-and-a-half baths but nothing to write home about. The perks are all in the backyard, with the sizable pool, adjoining hot tub, and wrap-around patio. The ask? $524K. A little removed from our favorite portion of Bridgeport (b/w 31st and 35th), it's still nice to be walking distance to Sox Park. Batter up!
