Bloomingdale Trail Watch

New, 17 comments

The Bloomingdale Trail design team dragged their latest work before the public Monday night. The presentation was the final consultation with onlookers and any feedback collected last night or submitted by email in short order will be considered in solidifying the designs. Steven Vance, reporting for Grid Chicago, measured the public's reaction as that of admiration and excitement, but lingering concerns included how to keep cyclist speed in check and how well the privacy wall will ensure neighbors' privacy. The 2.7-mile recreational trail will be blanketed in native plantings that show off the micro-climates created by the lake. Care to see the images? Click here. We expect work to begin very soon.
