Lakeview New Build Goes Old School Inside and Out

New, 3 comments

From the exterior, we would never have assumed that this historic-looking greystone in Lakeview was just a year old. But how good of a job does it do mimicking classic architecture on the inside? Well, from the rich woodwork and crown moldings to the old-fashioned fireplaces, these 5,500-square foot interiors sure do check off a lot of boxes. The gourmet kitchen, with its dramatic walnut cabinetry and custom island, definitely ups the vintage factor. There's also an extra-wide grand staircase and a pretty fab lower level with its own woodburning fireplace. On the market for $2.195M in the wake of a $254K price chop, the 5/4.5 home manages a spa bath with imported tile and marble, a butler's pantry, high end appliances, and a big ole rooftop deck.
