Jesse Jackson, Jr. Lists D.C. Home

New, 2 comments

U.S. Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. has put his Washington, D.C. digs on the market for $2.5M, according to the Trib. The 4-bed Victorian, built in 1921, is located in the upscale DuPont Circle neighborhood on the northwest side. Jackson, who has been undergoing intensive treatment for bipolar disorder, has been absent from office since taking leave on June 10th. We were able to track down the listing on Zillow, but, alas, there's no photo gallery available for our snooping pleasure (can't say we're surprised). The 5-level home features five fireplaces, a sunroom, patio, chef's kitchen, and a roof top deck complete with its own jacuzzi. All this plays out as election time nears for the 9th term Democrat from Illinois' 2nd District. [Trib, photo: Google Maps]
