The market hasn't been much of a friend to this gaudy 2/2.5 condo on East Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville. Back on the market for $2.8M, the owners are already facing a loss of $700K right out the gate. With the last price reduction almost a year ago having no effect, it may be time to consider another drop. Like a lot of East LSD digs we've come across, the decor is over-the-top traditional. The 2,435-square foot interiors abound with aristocratic paintings, frescoes, and a whole lotta woodwork. We just couldn't ignore the the ginormous clock in a room off the kitchen that looks like something out of a Dali painting. And the brokerbabble mentions a "remarkable outdoor space," but, alas, there are no shots of said space in the listing photos. This place also comes equipped with pine paneling, a steam shower, whirpool tub, heated floors, guest room, and, of course, lake views.
