For $6K/month: Cutesy 125-Year-Old Lincoln Park Townhouse

Is six grand a lot for 2,500 square feet? Our gut says yes, but the market says not especially. $2.40/sf in rent isn't abnormal for Lincoln Park, and there are also several apartment buildings around town charging considerably more (here's a few). For our money, we'd rather net a lovely 19th century townhome on a premier block. This three-bed has three floors of living space, high ceilings, hardwoods, tons of natural light, fireplaces, a rec room, and plenty of vintage character. There's also a tightly prescribed garden and brick patio (key when there's relatively little yard space) and a two-car garage. Despite the ask, we're betting this will go fast.
