Curbed first honed in on this Kenwood 6-bed back in May. While it holds great promise, the jalopy of Victorians is worse for wear in many departments. The floors are in disarray, the kitchen is 50 years behind the times, and the bedrooms are a carpeted mess. But we love the old wood paneling, series of fireplaces, ornate foyer and main stairs, and, of course, the well-kept turreted facade. The reader discourse that followed our springtime post involved what to do with the interiors and how it ought to be priced. The $980K ask was questioned, given the work to be done. And lo and behold, the price came tumbling down over the weekend: all the way to $725K. Pique your interest? Don't expect another gash of this magnitude, reductions like these are designed to close the deal.
