PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from a property listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Monday we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!
As is often the case, the first guess of this PriceSpotter installment was the best. But considering how unpredictable rents can be these days, we're not laughing at anyone. The actual rent on this 4/2.5 Andersonville gem reads a little low given that it's a perfect alternative to SF homeownership in one of the most coveted neighborhoods. $3,300/month will get you extras like a hefty backyard and garden, 2-car garage, pair of porches (one enclosed), skylights, finished basement, and a master bedroom with cathedral ceilings. And, while we were sleeping, the broker swapped in some new photos showing an altered decor— gone are the pesky arched lamps and the modern flavor. It's not obvious which style is better suited, but it's unlikely that either look would hinder the rapid leasing of this property.
