Monroe Building Scores New Tenant

New, 2 comments

According to Crain's, the newly-rehabbed Monroe Building at 104 S. Michigan Ave has landed its largest tenant to date. Hyper Marketing, Inc. will occupy 23,000-square feet in the 100-year old building, which was falling into obsolescence before it was purchased by James Pritzker in 2006 and given a full restoration. “You get the feeling of a vintage building, but you get all the amenities of a modern building,” he told Crain's. “It's not like one of those buildings you walk into and say, 'Oh, this is an old building.'” After this latest deal, the 16-story Gothic beaut is now 54 percent leased.
