Sale Pending On 'Fugitive House'

Whew! Relief is in sight for one of Chicago's most recognizable single family homes, the filming location for The Fugitive's grizzly murder scene. On the market in Lincoln Park for 14 months, the 6,200-square-foot modernist wonder had its ask trimmed by $250K late last year, and continues to sit at $3.699M. But its prospects are up this week with a status change to 'pending', the first such event. Designed by Ron Ysla, the home has a tangle of catwalks, four bedrooms, an elevator, sauna, and an incredible pool house. Even though it isn't us at the finish line, we're glad to see some movement on this special place. And just in case the deal falls through, an open house is scheduled for Sunday.
