Architect Owner Makes 'Sophisticated Urban Space' Of Downtown Loft

New, 9 comments

If sophistication is a wall of book cubbies and a bunch of sliding doors, then we fear for future generations. To be fair, that's the realtor's hyperbole not the architect owner's. And our dig can only go so deep— this one-bed Fulton River loft is clearly a bit different, and plenty attractive considering its $250K price tag. The 1,000-square-foot abode has the obvious high timber ceilings, refinished hardwoods, an expanded bathroom w/ double vanity and custom wood paneling, in-unit laundry, and a balcony. Not shown: a bonus room across the hall wired for TV, phone, and internet. Assessments are $308/month and parking an extra $25K.
