We certainly enjoyed the rabid interest in price spotting this time around. Fifteen readers ventured a guess, three of which came within spitting distance. Asking $1.095M, the size, location, empty space, and its short sale status made for a tricky-as-hell basket. That probably led to the extreme outliers— someone guessed $4.5M, others were in the mid-2s. The 4,000-square-foot 4/4 unit envelops the 19th floor of 1410 N State Parkway. It has some great built-ins, cherry floors, and a raging master suite. The monthly assessment—$2,940—is high for a condo but at least includes heat, A/C, and cable TV. If you're prepared to tangle with a short sale, this place has worlds of potential.
