Move-ins have just begun at 1225 Old Town, the 16-story game changing development at Wells and Division. YoChicago has been in regular conversation with David Bach, an associate with developer Hines Interests, about the leasing status. Apparently about half of the 250 units are pre-leased, and floors 1-8 are cleared for occupancy. Hines' official development site has had floorplans and renderings posted since May, but the information is now on MLS and primed for mass consumption. Some 35 different floorplans make for a complicated decision, but we've picked a few to highlight to go along with the all-purpose set of model unit photos. We've given you sample floorplans for studio, one-bed, and three-bed. Rents for available units run an enormous range, from $1,620 to $5,251. Needless to say, the building is drenched in amenities: outdoor pool/sun deck/fire pit; fitness center; 24/7 door staff; cyber cafe; movie theater; and lounge. Not bad for a rental building!
