Lincoln Park Contempo Mansion Nets Buyer w/ Big Price Drop

New, 3 comments

One of the craftiest new-builds to descend on Lincoln Park in the last few years, this slick VOA-designed 7,000-square-foot mansion has elegant hardwoods running its floors and up its walls, huge rooms, a four-level central atrium, big windows, and rampant skylighting. And it just sold, for $1.967M, after a springtime re-listing reduction of $500K. Guess that got their attention. The six-bed home has flirtations with modernism but focuses more on comfort, stacked with amenities like a sauna, hot tub, indoor grill, "summer kitchen", wet and dry bars, and a rooftop deck. In our estimation, it could've and would've sold for $2.5M if it had more of a backyard and didn't back onto high-rises.
