Custom Master Suite Makes The Most Of Floating Glass Walls

New, 2 comments

Yes sir, we can get behind this. A recent custom reno has rendered this master bedroom the showpiece of a glistening 3/3 Lincoln Park rowhome. The installation of a thick and sculptural glass divider between sleeping and shitting functions keeps the entire space feeling big and bright, and offers a modicum of privacy while ensuring no one can sneak up on you in the bath. The warped transparency could only be cooler if the wall were made a fish tank. The rest of the home, while quite nice, isn't this adventurous, and neither is the subdivision it belongs to: Tamerlane, on Greenview between Diversey and Wrightwood. Built in the early 90s, the complex is an island of plain suburban design, detached from the old grid. At least the rowhomes have active front yards and sidewalks. New-to-market, the thoroughly renovated home is asking $1.1M.
