There's a fresh face on Chicago Avenue in the Ukrainian Village. Completed this Spring, this 4-story modern building was built on the western half of a vacant lot on Chicago and Leavitt. We're anticipating a second conjoined structure for the remaining vacant space: something akin to this, laid out by Hanna Architects. If that conception is seen through, there will eventually be 14 units on site. Four of the six existing condo units have come online in recent weeks. And we've zeroed in on the best of the bunch, a fourth floor unit going for $450K, which is $50K more than a similarly-sized unit one floor below. The 3-bed, 2-bath residence clocks in at 1,650 square feet, and it feels a whole lot bigger thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. The minimal interiors are outfitted with chic accoutrements like a spa bath and SS-appliances from Dacor & Liebherr. And we'd be remiss if we failed to mention the rooftop deck with dramatic views of the downtown skyline.
