Triplex Printers Row Penthouse May Need More Price Adjusting

New, 3 comments

Steps from Dearborn Station, in the thick of the gritty muscularity of Printers Row, is a three-level penthouse asking $500K. Is that a fair price? Tough to say, particularly without a good sense of square footage, but its 14 months on the market with but one minor price cut suggests a need to reconsider. Although the building was constructed in 1908, the unit is outfitted with all the creature comforts of 21st-century living, including a sub-zero fridge, funky granite countertops, and a whirpool tub. The warm interiors contrast nicely with exposed brick walls and columns. Gigantic windows offer tremendous views of the city. And, of course, who could forget the rooftop terrace? With a western exposure, you can get your sunset fix while cowering before that black mass known as the Willis Tower.
