We've gotta train ourselves to start using Waldorf in place of Elysian— the building's ownership and identity changed months ago. But the units are the same old units: luxurious and very, very expensive. That's not to say some aren't significantly more attractive and put-together than others. This 42nd-floor unit, on the market a few months now, is just that— custom-built and well put-together. Of the Waldorf's available units, two are almost completely raw and two are polished standard-issue minimalist. Meanwhile, this 3/3.5 really pops. Spanning 4,000 square feet, the high-floor condo has gigantic common rooms, high ceilings w/ glowing insets, a slick fireplace w/ surrounding built-ins, a high-end kitchen, and two jumbo east and west-facing balconies. An estimated $500K was sunk into the customization. And, of course, everyone knows membership in this building brings with it full access to 5-star hotel amenities like the indoor pool, concierge, spa, fitness center, and valet. The ask? $3.199M, down $200K from January.
