Harbor Point Rental Points in the Right Direction

New, 1 comment

What makes this 3-bedroom apartment in the New East Side so special? To adapt a famous political slogan: "It's the view, stupid." Even 'sweeping' fails to convey the extent of the views this SE-facing, 35th floor unit in Harbor Point has to offer. They go on and on, and on some more— stretching all the way from DuSable Harbor to the South Loop. Interiors in the 2,975-square foot unit include a dramatically curving bay of nearly floor-to-ceiling windows. There are also plenty of modern updates like marble spa baths, a wine bar, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, and electronic shades to make closing all of those windows a bit easier. Since the building was completed in 1974, the area has filled in quite a bit, what with Lakeshore East and all. The nearby mega-development has brought restaurants, stores, and a Mariano's Fresh Market all with in walking distance of the apartment, which is available for $6,500/month.
