Last spring we blogged about Bridgeport's resurgent Lexington Square, a 39-townhome development just southwest of 35th and Halsted. Most of the units had sold, and developer Lexington Homes had a hankering for another round on neighboring parcels but had yet to acquire the land. In big news for Bridgeport, Lexington has closed on nearly an acre for $1.68M, reports Crain's. Jeff Benach, Lexington's co-principal, says that Lexington Square Two will bring on another 24 three-bed townhomes, priced from $380K. Each will have a fenced yard, balcony, and private roof deck. As for Lexington Square One, only the two model units remain unsold. The new stage will break ground almost immediately. [Crain's, previously]
