VOA-Designed Lincoln Park Contempo Re-Lists for $2M

New, 7 comments

If this weren't such a damn sparkly space, or if it didn't log 7,000 square feet in the center of Lincoln Park, we might've skipped on by. But, alas, here we are skreiking about another find. This huge 6/5.5 new-build was put together by Chicago-based global hotshots VOA Associates in 2009 (the firm behind the new RU Vertical Campus and the lackluster Navy Pier reconstruction). Off the market a little over a year, the property has returned asking $2M (a $500K reduction). Let's run down the goods: the custom home rocks a number of big bright rooms, chief of which are the stacked great room and atrium (the lower wood-clad great room and the upper sky-lit atrium); naturally, the ceilings are quite high throughout; there's a balcony and roof deck with attached "summer kitchen"; and, last but not least, an elevator. Extras include a sauna, hot tub, indoor grill, and wet and dry bars. Beefy enough for ya?
