Esquire Tracker

The developer behind a high-end retail project in the Gold Coast has secured financing, reports Crain's via our cousins at Racked Chicago. DRW Holdings obtained a $42.5 million loan to build a 35,000-square-foot building, which is 80 percent leased, at the site of the former Esquire Theater on a tony section of Oak Street. Shoe designer Christian Louboutin is planning to lease 1,000 square feet. Other tenants, you may recall, include jewelry maker Buccellati Inc. and Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House. Construction is expected to wrap in August, with occupancy planned for December. Racked has more. [Racked Chicago, previously]
