This is our third and probably final visit to this jumbled delight in Lincoln Park. You see, it's been snatched up for $2M— a $500K reduction on its April 2011 list price. Too bad there's no contract stipulation that could preserve these borderline-deranged treatments, although we're guessing they sit well enough with the buyer. To review: the 5/4.5 re-built 1891 home includes a coach house, "rich chocolate" plank floors, roof terrace, gorgeous bar, arched doorways, elevator, and herds of decorative animals— stuffed and printed. Guess we'll have to find a new gawker's special. Any leads?
