"I can certainly understand CPAC's frustration with this. They're also facing a reprogramming of some park space to a (n admittedly impressive) baseball stadium. I was just by this park a few weeks ago and it looked pretty ratty...shame to see involved and interested neighbors get trodden over like this. That said, in general I support programmed park space over unprogrammed park space. I think it makes it more inviting and better used.
