Troy Graves's Red Door; Moderno in Highland Park; More

BUCKTOWN—Following a stint working in the suburbs and consulting on a Mexican joint, chef Troy Graves is gearing up to open Red Door in the former Duchamp space next week.

HIGHLAND PARK—After announcing a few months ago that he wanted to shake up suburban dining, John des Rosiers is opening Moderno in downtown Highland Park this weekend.

SOMEWHERE—With the news that Nick Floyd is scouting locations to open a Three Floyds brewpub in Chicago, beer geeks won't have to trek out to Munster, Ind., for a fresh pint of Alpha King.

RIVER NORTH—In a surprise move, the Trump eliminated beverage director Rachael Lowe's position at Sixteen; new restaurant director Will Douillet (Next) will now oversee the wine program instead.
