Got a really shitty front yard to show off? The DIY Network has launched a nationwide call for photo/video submissions to their annual Desperate Landscapes competition. The winning yard will earn a very public and very free makeover from DIY's Jason Cameron. Guidelines to consider when presenting your uniquely disastrous front yard: 1) Capture plenty of images, preferably video footage. 2) Show the neighborhood context. 3) Personalize it. 4) Be funny.
