Guess the Ask on this Downtown 2/2 Penthouse Condo

New, 4 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Wednesday we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: 2/2 high-floor (22nd) condo in The Loop
Size: 5 rooms + deck; no square footage given

The Skinny: Technically, this isn't a penthouse— there's another floor of units above it. But it does enjoy the distinction of owning a piece of roof. The section of terraced rooftop belonging to this unit measures 20' x 12'. "In the palm of the skyline", it's also in the clutches of huge Gothic limestone eagles, an especially badass element of the bulky 1927 Loop building. The unit's "large floorplan" has an "abundance of large view filled windows" and "closets galore". Awkward, but we follow. There's also hardwoods throughout and a legit fireplace. The 200+ unit building has a doorman and fitness center. Assessments, which cover those amenities plus utilities run $619/month. Have at it, keen observer!
