According to a marketing flyer, TRIO owner and property manager Marquette Properties is debuting 10 'penthouse' rentals (five are still available) atop the 22-story Trio Tower in the Fulton River District. Oddly, we just wrote about the revived status of Trio Park on Monday, so this makes for a marketing blitz (well done, PR folks). The 100 units at Trio Tower, lest you haven't heard, switched from condo to rental a year-and-a-half ago. Taken together with the two 7-story condo mid-rises, there are 209 units at the development. The new penthouse plans being pitched include "The Pinnacle" (the largest at 2,868 sf) and "The Monaco" (the smallest at 1,426 sf). All are duplex layout. "We like to call them ‘sky houses’ in the city," says Darren Sloniger, managing director of acquisitions for Marquette. Nice thought, but a little too packaged for us. Pricing ranges from $4,200 to $8,600/month. Yikes! So, what does that get you? Per the release:
All penthouses feature authentic hardwood flooring, granite countertops in kitchens and baths, floor-to-ceiling windows, 10-foot ceilings (sometimes higher, per room), Viking and Wolf appliance packages, Brazilian wood cabinetry and mosaic tile backsplash in kitchens, exotic ceramic tile or slate flooring in baths, spa soaking tubs in the master bath, and expansive balconies. Some penthouses have butler’s pantries, wet bars and private libraries or dens. ·Official Site: Trio Apartments
