"Balconies are theoritically nice for residents, but they almost always look like crap and are rarely used even when it's not winter. And I'm not a fan of the old design's irregular and sparse fenestration. The new design has the lack of ornamentation of modern, but retains some visual interest with the columns, and divided windows.
