Crib Chatter wrote up one of Old Town's cooler modern homes today, reminding us that we did the same when the Larry Booth-designed property first listed in October. Something we both glossed over, revealed by a public records search, is the identity of the "architect owner": Mr. Dirk Lohan, grandson of Mies Van Der Rohe. The listing credits Lohan with expanding and refining the home. You may recall recent news of Lohan's involvement in the restoration/renovation of two significant Mies buildings— the former AT&T building, and Berlin's New National Gallery. Lohan's home, at 425 W Eugenie, has yet to price reduce, asking $1.95M. [Crib Chatter, previously]
