Rethinking Her Local Holdings, Rosie Looks to Sell in Lakeview

Rosie O'Donnell is "re-evaluating her real estate holdings" in the words of her publicist, Cindi Berger. Her Chicago real estate holdings, that is. Which can mean only one thing: her Lake View days are numbered. It's been only six months since O'Donnell closed on her home at 1517 W Grace Street. A spokeswoman confirmed the intent to sell, although the home is not listed with any brokerage, reports The Tribune. The rumor mill has suggested O'Donnell has interest in returning to NYC full time, something Berger denies. Apparently, O'Donnell is more than satisfied with her corporate-supplied apartment. The 6,000-square-foot house is really just an accessory for the kids. "She bought it impulsively," Berger said to The Tribune. "She bought a house because she felt that she wanted the kids to have a backyard and to live in a neighborhood. But the kids only come on the weekends— she doesn't need that big house." O'Donnell paid around $2.25M for the fully-furnished property. Will it now shoot for more with its vestiges of celebrity? Time will tell. What no one can say is whether "The Rosie Show" is in an irreversible nose dive? Curbed hasn't seen it but we're certainly not hearing rave reviews.
