Ukie Village Home on "Best Block" but in Need of an Architect

Given that we wrote up a strikingly similar property yesterday, which sold for $75K less on the Wicker/Humboldt border, and that it didn't require a full battery of renovations, it's hard for us to tout the value of this Ukrainian Village offer. Even so, there are advantages to be had here. For starters, the location is superb. And if you dream of custom design, it might be worth recruiting your architect and executing right at this spot. The shell of the house is in fine shape, and portions of the interior are well on their way. As configured, there are three bedrooms, two baths, and 1,314-square-feet of living space. There's also a deck, a small back yard, and a two-car garage. Judging by the cord or two of firewood behind the house, there ought to be a fireplace somewhere too. New-to-market, the asking price is $349K.
