Budlong Woods Split-Level Riverfront Ranch Goes for $330K

New, 5 comments

Unsurprisingly, this mid-century 3-bed ranch in Budlong Woods was marketed as a Lincoln Square property. It's pretty far from the Lincoln Square scene that springs to the mind of occasional visitors. But much to this home's benefit, it backs onto a riverfront park on a quiet street. To some, this even beats private frontage. There's a rec trail, athletic facilities, and a long band of greenspace. The house itself is billed as "architecturally unique", but it seems to us rather typical of a split-level ranch. The roof does dictate some interesting angles for the interiors, and the living room's brick ornament is rather pleasant. A broad covered patio overlooks the generous back yard. An estate sale property, the ask started low and snagged a buyer quickly.
