There's a new game in town by the name Chicago Modern: more than Mies. An offshoot of Landmarks Illinois, it's on a clear mission to raise awareness and drum up support for the preservation of important modern architecture. At present, the campaign to save "old" Prentice is in full swing, but while Chicago Modern looks to function as a mouthpiece for such campaigns, it also gives face time to diverse buildings not in imminent danger.
