The last time Curbed wrote about the Meeker Mansion it was October 2010 and three of its four developer-owned duplexes had sold. Converted from a single-family listing to four condo listings in 2009, there was just one unit left to sell: A 4-bed then listed for $1.77M. Fast forward to late January 2012, and we have a sale to celebrate. After nearly three years on the market, unit 202 closed last week for $1,407,900. The market was hard on this one, but it's not surprising that it eventually fetched a tidy sum. Just look at it! Fashioned by Ranquist Development, the unit is crisp, clean, and padded with tons of high-end fixtures and appliances. Nearly 3,000 square feet, the deck adds another 1,000. Modern though the innards may be, the main stairs, lobby, and building exterior are unmistakably vintage. Meat packing baron Arthur Meeker might not approve, but change is part of life in the city.
