Preservation Watch: Old Prentice

It ain't over til the fat lady sings. Or, in this case, a Cook County Judge. Asked today to toss out the lawsuit against the Commission on Chicago Landmarks for its sloppy handling of Old Prentice, Judge Neil Cohen postponed his decision until mid-January. That status will remain until Cohen grants a dismissal or until an actual trial occurs. No matter, preservationists are used to such purgatory. [Trib, previously]
