West Town's—and perhaps Chicago's—most 70s home just hit the market for $650K. An "impressively designed single family perfect for the entertainer", this three-bed quasi-A frame references absolutely nothing around it but the memory of the 1970s. And what's not to like? The double-height living room? Wavy pitched ceilings? interior balcony? Cherry wood kitchen w/ custom backsplash? Master suite w/ walk-in closet? Canopied back terrace? Third bedroom as wine room? OK, that last one could be a nuisance. But you'll be entertaining, remember? Also, the attic rec room can easily become a large fourth bedroom, peppered with skylights. If there's one real gripe it's that the front yard outdoes the back yard— not the preference for city living.
