With its historic pedigree and charming visage, we're not sure why this Alta Vista row house took so long to sell. We've kept a watchful eye on the 7/3.5 landmark home, marking its two year anniversary on the market in mid-summer. Back then, the ask had fallen to $780K in the wake of a $119K chop. Just a few months later, it was scooped up for the bargain basement price of $715K. The interiors sprinkle a chef's kitchen and other modern perks in with original artifacts like crown molding, leaded glass, and big ole bay windows. The largest of the block's 40 homes, it's also good for updated baths, a Sub Zero fridge, fireplace, and skylights. And there's a nice-sized terrace out back (not a given with the block's cramped lots) with views of Wrigley. Let's hope the new owners aren't Sox fans!
