Cavernous Logan Square Live/Work Space Sells for $435K

New, 4 comments

It's time to bid farewell to one of the coolest, most inconspicuous live/work spaces from the Curbed archives. The 4,500-square-foot Logan Square property has splashes of color and vestiges of full-time living space interrupted by spacious work spaces, funky industrial sinks, and industrial-chic lighting. The asking price had bounced around a bit since listing in the summer of 2011, and so has the listed square footage (guess it depends on what portion is deemed "living space"). But we've got no indictment of the 1,800-square-foot usable rooftop or the 1,200-square-foot attached garage, both ripe for ideas. All that exposed brick ain't bad either. The zoning allows for continued mixed-use, but for all we know the place may have sold to a funky-fresh family or maniacal bachelor. The closing price? $435K.
